User Audit Report

The User Audit Report is a downloadable and printable patient activity audit for a specific user account. It lists each action someone performed in a chart during a specific period.

• Date/Time is when someone performed an action

• Action is the action performed

• Patient Name and MRN indicate the associated chart

• Section shows the chart area accessed

• Restricted Access Reason is the reason given for accessing a restricted chart

To generate a User Audit Report:

1. Navigate to and filter the Users list for the user account you want the report for.

2. Click USER AUDIT REPORT.

   

3. Set the Start and End Dates for the activity you want to see.

4. To filter for a specific patient, find and select the patient in Patient Name or ID. Or leave it blank to include any patient accessed during the period.

5. Next, decide how you want to receive the report.

   Export the User Audit Report to Excel

   To download the User Audit Report as an Excel spreadsheet, click EXPORT TO EXCEL.

   

   To accept the Download Disclaimer and download the file to the folder on your computer, click ACCEPT.

   

   Preview, Print, or Download the User Audit Report

   To preview, print, or download the User Audit Report as a PDF, click PRINT REPORT.

   

   
   

   The preview pane has Print and Download options to make this document available outside of iKnowMed.

   

   To print the previewed document:

   1. Click the Printer icon in the upper right.

   2. Set your preferred printer settings (not shown).

   3. Click Print (not shown).

   To download the previewed document:

   1. Click the Download icon in the upper right.

   2. Enter a File name for the document (not shown).

   3. Click Save (not shown).

   To close the preview window, click CLOSE.
