About On Behalf Of
When ordering or making changes to orders, non-providers usually are not able to create or change an order without the approval of a provider. To put the order in front of a provider for approval, iKnowMed prompts non-providers to choose the provider they are ordering On Behalf Of and the Order Type before the order can be created.
Set On Behalf Of
If you are prompted to choose an On Behalf Of:
In On Behalf Of, choose the provider to review or approve the order.
In Order Type, set the type of order: Verbal or Standing.
Click SAVE.
