About Order Sets and Order Panels
An Order Set:
Is a group of things that are commonly ordered together
Makes it easy to order multiple related tests and services at once
Is unique to one person or shared by everyone at your practice
An Order Panel:
Is a group of things that are commonly ordered individually
Usually contains similar things, such as the Diagnostic Imaging, Labs, or Medications that you most commonly order
Is unique to one person or shared by everyone at your practice
A Mobile Panel is an Order Panel that displays in the iKnowMed Mobile app.
Order Sets and Order Panels are used in the New Orders and Medications sub-tabs under the Orders chart tab.
The Order Sets area is where you create and maintain the Order Sets, Order Panels, and Mobile Panels defined for your practice.
