About Mapping an Ordering Physician or APC
When a Physician or Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) is mapped as an Ordering Clinician, iKnowMed routes each result received from your lab management system to the provider indicated in the result message.
Before you map the Ordering Clinician, confirm the provider has an iKnowMed account. If not, follow the Onboard a Physician or APC process.
