About Mapping an Attending
When a clinician is mapped as an Attending Physician, iKnowMed updates your patient's demographics with changes to their Attending Physician list based on demographics messages received from your practice management system.
Before you map the Attending Physician, confirm the clinician has an iKnowMed account. If not, follow the Onboard a Physician or APC process.
