Fuzzy Dates

In iKnowMed, an order can be created with an Exact date, a Fuzzy date, or a SuperFuzzy date.

An Exact date looks like "03/31/2025". It is immediately clear on what month, day, and year an order with an Exact date is set to be performed.

A Fuzzy date looks like "in 2 weeks". In this case, iKnowMed is able to calculate an Exact date that is close to the preferred date. For example, if you create an order on March 30th and set the order date to "in 2 weeks", iKnowMed calculates the Perform Date to be April 13th.

A SuperFuzzy date looks like "Prior to Next Visit". In this case, the information needed to calculate an Exact date from a SuperFuzzy date is not available to iKnowMed.
