eRx Message Worklist Queue

If your practice electronically prescribes medications, including controlled substances (EPCS), then your practice is sending and receiving messages with pharmacies electronically. The eRx Message worklist queue is where you monitor those messages, which can include:

• A prescription Renewal Request from a pharmacy confirming that a prescription should be renewed

• A prescription Change Request from a pharmacy requesting a medication substitution or some other change to the prescription

• A prescription Cancel message to a pharmacy indicating a prescription is discontinued
