Chart Alerts

You set a Chart Alert on a chart when you want to record a special note about a patient that others treating your patient also need to know. For example, a patient may have billing or insurance issues, be in a special program or a clinical trial participant, have a Code Status, or a clinical condition.

Chart Alerts appear in many places, including but not limited to:

• Visit List Widget

• Patient Banner

• Orders worklist queue

• Ins. Auth / Fin. Counseling worklist queue
