Add a Treatment Group to a Regimen

Treatment Groups are used to group medications within a regimen order.

Treatment Groups can be added after you select a regimen for a patient within the Orders > Regimens tab by clicking the ADD TREATMENT GROUP  button.

Add Regimen Treatment Group

The Add Regimen Treatment Group window allows you to define the Group Name and where it will display within the regimen. 

Click SAVE to add the new group.

View the New Treatment Group

The new Treatment Group is added in the selected location. Once a Treatment Group is created, use the Search Orderables field to add a medication order to the regimen.

Add a Medication Order

Enter a portion of the text in the search field to return a list of potential matches. Click on the item in the list to select it.

Complete Medication Details

Complete the details of the selected medication. Click OK to update the order and return to the list of medications in the treatment.

Provide Schedule

When a new Treatment Group medication is added to a regimen, you will be alerted by the RED icon that you must click the link to Provide Schedule.

Review / Save Order

When the Regimen Calendar is saved for the new Treatment Group, the established schedule will display in the Schedule column of the regimen order.

After adding all medications to the Treatment Group, select a dose and provide the schedule for each drug. Click REVIEW/SAVE to take you to the Order Review screen and complete the regimen order.
