Add a Hydration Order

Enter Dehydration in the search field for a list of matching problems.

To search for and select an appropriate ICD code, enter the code in the ICD10 field.

Click SAVE to add the Problem.

After entering Dehydration in the Diagnosis/Problem area, click SEARCH FOR REGIMENS to open the Clear Value Plus (CVP) - Pathway Decision Support window. Choose Supportive care/Other.

To find the Hydration IV regimen in the resulting list, type "hydration" in the Filter Chemotherapies by field or scroll through the alphabetical list. Click SELECT for the Hydration IV regimen.

Cycle Length and # of Cycles default as defined in the protocol but can be modified, for example, to reflect the patient's age or that previous cycles were given.

Start Date defaults to the current date. To select a different date, click the date value.

Select a Line of Therapy. To save the regimen details, click OK.

Place a check next to each optional medication to include. As you add medications to the treatment, be sure to check each medication's details, especially the dose/formula.

Click REVIEW / SAVE to continue to the Order Review screen

Review your Hydration IV order. If it looks good, click SAVE ORDERS  or SIGN ORDERS (for provider) to complete your order.
