Add a Problem to the Problem List

You can add a problem nearly anywhere you see a problem. Like:

  • Under Clinical Profile > Problems

  • After clicking Dx in the Patient Banner

  • In the Chart Summary Problem List widget

  • When creating a Clinical Note

  • After clicking a Create a new problem link, found throughout iKnowMed

Adding a Problem or Principal Diagnosis is a cinch under Clinical Profile > Problems.

There are 4 basic steps to entering a problem, and, depending on your role or the problem to enter, you might not need to complete all 4 steps:

  1. Find the Problem to Add

  2. Enter Staging Details for a Principal Diagnosis

  3. Choose Codes

  4. Save the Problem
