Digitally Sign Using ID.me
In iKnowMed, enter your iKnowMed Signing PIN and click OK.
In Confirm Where to Receive Code, choose a device.
Authenticate with a Push Notification
To digitally sign a prescription for a controlled substance by authenticating with a push notification on your smartphone:
In iKnowMed, click SEND PUSH NOTIFICATION.
Tap Yes in the ID.me push notification on your smartphone.
Authenticate Using a Passcode
To digitally sign a prescription for a controlled substance by authenticating with a code on your smartphone:
Find the code that appears in the ID.me app (a.k.a., soft token) on your smartphone.
In iKnowMed, enter the code in the One time passcode field.
Click SUBMIT.
Push Notification Denied or Not Received
If a push notification is denied, a warning appears "The push notification was denied..."
If iKnowMed does not receive your approval, a warning appears "We didn't receive your approval in time..."
In both cases, try again by following the Authenticate with a Push Notification instructions or the Authenticate Using a Passcode instructions above.
Passcode Entered Incorrectly
If a passcode is entered incorrectly, a warning appears "The ID.me passcode entered was incorrect..."
To try again, follow the Authenticate Using a Passcode instructions above.
Message Type Not Supported By Sender
If a "message type not supported by sender" error appears, contact Tech Product Support.
