In New Orders, orders are arranged in containers and there are a few different types of containers. These containers are customized for each Provider.

Prior Orders

The Prior Orders container lists the non-medication orders for the current patient in the last 18 months. They are sorted by Perform Date.

To filter out orders created On Behalf Of, enable Exclude OBO Orders.

To filter for orders by one or more providers, open Providers and check the box for each Provider.

To filter for orders at one or more locations, open Locations and check the box for each Location.

Quick Links

The Quick Links container lists up to 25 orders under My Favorites.

To add an order to My Favorites, hover on the order in any container and click the Favorite (star) icon that appears.

To remove an order from My Favorites, click the Favorite (star) icon next to the order in any container.

Order Set

The Order Sets container lists the orders in each Order Set that is customized for the provider.

Custom Containers

A provider may have more containers customized for them. These containers might be organized into orders of a certain type, done during a time period, related to a diagnosis, etc. To set up a custom container, click EDIT LAYOUT.

Change an Order Container

An Order Container can be changed in several ways.

To change the name of, change the contents of, or to remove an Order Container:

Click the Options (3 dots) icon.

Choose Edit order set/panel contents to add, arrange, or remove an Order in a container.
Choose Edit order set/panel name to rename an Order Container.
Choose Remove order set/panel to delete an Order Container from your view.

Expand and Collapse Containers

Expanding an Order Container shows the orders in the container. Collapsing an Order Container hides the orders in the container and may show more containers on your screen.

To expand or collapse a single Order Container, click the Expand (>)/Collapse (v) icon.

To expand or collapse all Order Containers, click the Expand All/Collapse All option.

Search by Name

When you do not see an order listed in a container, enter the Order Name in Search.
