FAQ: What happens if a staff member splits the dose in ADMIX after dispensing in Lynx?
Issue: A staff member split the dose in ADMIX after it was already dispensed in Lynx. As a result, the dose was not dispensed in split doses in Lynx LIT.
Explanation: The view below shows how the item appears in Lynx before it is split in ADMIX. When a dose is split in ADMIX after being dispensed, it does not reflect as split doses in Lynx LIT, potentially causing discrepancies in the records.
Issue: The nurse documented a split dose of 250 mg each.
CCR: Displays a total dose of 750 mg.
Go to ADMIX >>DISPENSE DETAILS to solve this and review each FASLODEX line.
The first line will show a dose of 500 MG
The second line will show the dose as Empty.
Verify Item Match
In the "iKnowMed Generation 2 Orders" tab of Lynx Dispense, staff will check that the item matches the correct item.
Return and Redistribute FASLODEX
Staff must return the FASLODEX in Lynx.
Re-dispense the drug per line item in Lynx.
